Hello  Customer

I aim to deliver my handmade glass & slate house plaques  to you in a safe and secure manner.

I will try and deal as promptly as possible with any issues that may arise concerning your order.

Due to the handmade nature of my products, there will always be some variation in size, colour, shade, texture & depth of the engraving.

The glass is cut and edge finished by hand to remove the sharp corners and leave an extremely attractive glassy, clear, rippled edge.

Some marks, indents, chips or minor shelling from the tools and processes used may be evident on the edges of the finished pieces.

There may also be the odd faint, minor mark or hairline scratch on the surface of the glass.

It is an impossible task to avoid marks completely due to the nature of the material, the manufacture and delivery procedure and during working and handling of the hand crafted process.

Ordering:

On making a purchase from my website - housenumberplaques.co.uk - you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out on this page.

Payment:

All prices listed on the website are shown in UK pounds sterling.

There is no VAT to add to any of the prices.

Payment is only accepted via PayPal / Credit Card.  Goods will not be dispatched until full payment is received by us. Payment of your order made via PayPal is completely secure - we don't retain any payment information or card details. We are not responsible for any charges incurred by you from your Credit Card Company or bank in relation to the processing of any order made with us.  Please note that if, for any reason, your card payment is not authorized by your bank/credit card company, we will not be able to proceed with your order and it will be cancelled.

Delivery of your Order:

I aim to turn around orders within 3 weeks of receipt of your paid order.

If this is not possible due to a delay in manufacture or another reason I will let you know.  If you have requested a specific custom order I will inform you of the expected delivery date.

Please let me know if you have an urgent deadline and I will do my best to help.

Please ensure you have provided a full and correct delivery address, any special delivery instructions and contact phone numbers and email.

Returns:

I hope that you will be delighted with your house sign, however please note the following:

Tim Carter glass & slate house plaques are handmade to order and engraved with your choice of number/s, name/s, font (typeface) or image / graphic and as such, are deemed as bespoke and personalized and therefore not eligible for return or cancellation once engraved.

Due to the handmade bespoke nature of the goods I sell I would like to kindly refer you to the following:

Refunds & Cancellations:

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Sale of Goods Act, we are under no obligation by law to cancel your bespoke order or offer a full or partial refund on a purchase, unless it has been deemed faulty or broken.
