Local Gallery Going Dotty Over My Artisan Glass Table Lamps!
I’ve had a busy few months fulfilling orders for my handmade glass products and glass house number plaques but I’m thrilled to announce that the Leicestershire based ‘Dotty Gallery’ has started stocking my handmade artisan glass lamps. Current designs include trees, thistles, seed heads, leaves and birds but keep an eye out as I am always extending the range with other unique sand etched naturalistic images.
Lesley Harris, owner of the Dotty Gallery in Twyford, first saw examples of my work a number of years ago at one of Leicester’s Art House weekends and was impressed with what she saw. Keen to add my illuminated glass light sculptures to her retail offering, Lesley thought they were a perfect fit to compliment the other high end, unique handmade products her gallery retails in its showrooms.
Both beautiful and functional my lamps are handmade using a solid oak base that is topped with a thick panel of sand blasted etched glass featuring one of my naturalistic designs. By adding a light that Illuminates the glass artwork from the base, the light really highlights the intricate details of each unique piece, giving it a stunning, almost 3D effect.
Lesley informs me that my lights have been extremely well received by customers and I have had some glowing feedback – no pun intended! The day after the Dotty Gallery announced the arrival of my handmade glass lights, a regular customer immediately went in to snap the one up from the promotional image! But fear not, there are a range of other designs and images available and I am always happy to work with individuals to create any bespoke requirements.
The Dotty Gallery is currently stocking examples of my indoor glass sculpture table lamps and I hope to extend the range of my products available there in the coming months.
